WILL YOU STAY TRUSTING?

I’m tired, I’m tired LORD!!!

I can’t count the number of times I’ve said this phrase over the past couple of months. And whenever I say it, it’s like I’m saying “strengthen me LORD” because that’s exactly what HE comes to do.

I haven’t made a post here in the last 6 months. I blamed it on being busy but should I say there’s just been a lack of inspiration?
I had a conversation with a close friend recently and we spoke about life in general ranging from work to relationships to ministry, etc

I left that conversation more encouraged and fully convinced in my decision to keep trusting GOD no matter the challenges life brings.

It’s funny how after that conversation and my resolve to stay trusting GOD, something came to discourage me. As though the devil was trying to mock me and my resolve 😂. And it was in that moment this blog post was birthed.

If you’re tired, hungry, thirsty or just fed up, then this post is for you. Make sure you read to the last sentence because Your FATHER has a word for you.

Are you feeling burdened and pressured?
Then, the next few lines are for you.

“Come unto me all ye that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”

Mathew 11:28 (KJV)

It’s super easy to say this but sometimes we shy away from actually acting it out. Rest is something that can be truly found in GOD, not in any other thing. And today, HE’s reminding you of the state that HE wants you to be in at all times- a state of REST.

Before those challenges come, have you made a resolve that it’s either GOD or GOD? It’s either HIS will or HIS will? For us, there’s no plan B.

Things will come to shake your resolve and who your faith is in, trust me. What will you do then? How will you handle it? Will you give in or will you fight back? Will you give in to those doubts or will you stay trusting?

Scriptures say, if your strength fails you in the day of adversity, your strength is small.

If thou faint in the day of adversity, Thy strength is small.

Proverbs 24:10 (ASV)

May your strength not fail you! Amen!
The truth is, on our own, our strength will fail us over and over again, time and time again. That’s the reason our FATHER is calling us to take of the strength HE’s giving. We need not fear weakness because HE has promised us that when we’re weak, that’s when HIS strength will become perfected in us.

Are you there feeling forgotten or neglected by GOD? Here’s something for you.

“Can a woman forget her nursing child, or lack compassion for the son of her womb? Even if she could forget, I will not forget you! Behold, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands; your walls are ever before Me.”

Isaiah‬ ‭49‬:‭15‬-‭16‬ ‭BSB‬‬

This is GOD’s promise to you today and forever. Because of this, because of HIS love, you can never be forgotten, never be overlooked. Let it stagger you if you will…you are graven on the palm of HIS hands.

How about you that’s feeling tired and stressed?
Here’s your FATHER reminding you of HIS promise.

“He gives power to the faint and increases the strength of the weak. Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall. But those who wait upon the Lord will renew their strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not faint.”

Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭29‬-‭31‬ ‭BSB‬‬

Stepping out into the valley unafraid because someone greater is holding my hands so I rest! It only gets better from here!

I hope this is your declaration now and forever.
Do let me know in the comment section if this piece blessed you. As always, keep being inspired and in turn inspire others.

I wrote this piece listening to two songs, one is Ministrel Sunmisola’s live worship session and the other one is Come Alive (Dry Bones) by Lauren Diagle. You can plug your ears too while reading this piece again😊.

The truth is Trusting God can be difficult sometimes, especially as humans who want to have all things figured out. However, as spiritual beings in this mortal body, we know that trusting him is the best thing we can ever do with our lives. So let’s keep trusting, let’s rest in him, his mind is literally full of us, so he’s got us through whatever situation it is we might be facing now.

Sometimes reminding myself that God is good helps. Knowing that there is no evil in God and that he would not without anything Good from his Child helps me to put my trust in him. Knowing that the delay is not because he is withholding the blessing from me, but he preparing me for the blessing.

“Things will come to shake your resolve and who your faith is…”

This is something I believe we all need to remember. Because when we forget and our tests come, we immediately go into panic and doubting mode.

But remembering that there will be times of tests, trials, and waiting gives us a better edge on how to keep trusting and not lose faith. It helps us to always remember to hang on to God’s words at all times.

Thank you for this piece Leyi ❤
