WHAT TO DO AT THIS POINT: A REMINDER!

We live in a day and age where a lot of things are vying for our attention, where there is an abundance of information, whether negative or positive at our beck and call, where a lot of things have filled and are still filling our minds, where we see and are exposed to an avalanche of information on social media, where a lot(and I mean a lot!!!!!!!) of things have taken and are taking so much of our time that we’re left having little or no time for God. Some things are just not helping the state of our minds to be honest.

But before I get ahead of myself, happy New year guys🎉. I know its coming late but better late than never right?

How are you all doing? This my on and off ehnn, please forgive me. I really really do hope to be consistent here this year. If you stay in Lagos, how are you doing really? The joy of the Lord keeps being our strength. It will only get better.

So let’s continue with my thoughts, shall we?….You know the first paragraph of this post to be true if you want to be truthful with yourself.
Nevertheless, in the midst of everything happening around us, God’s word remains our anchor, our hope and the only word of eternal life. We continue to look at God through His word, we continue to focus on Him and Him alone because He is really all that matters. And what better way to live than to live in Him, for Him and with Him.

We can now conclude that there is therefore the need to constantly renew our minds and guard our hearts. The Bible rightly said so in Romans 12:2 “And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God”.

It is pertinent that even in the midst of all the happenings around us, we keep our minds stayed on Christ, constantly. His word should be our go-to every single opportunity we get. His word should be our lifestyle. His word should be imprinted in our hearts. His word should be our guide in this world. Let me let you in on something, being full of the word of God (revelational knowledge) helps us not to try to fit in to the world’s standards and it causes us to become more and more like Christ. It takes a deliberate and intentional effort on our part though. See how you can do this and trust that God’s grace is available to see you through.

What steps are you taking or have you taken this year to see that you become all that God intends for you? I would love to hear from you in the comment section.
Until next time, keep being inspired and in turn inspire others. I love you all.

    Okay oo
I do hear people say that they’ve finished the Bible from Genesis to Revelation
Aside my daily devotion,i haven’t really tried doing that.So this year I devoted my time in studying God’s word. It haven’t been easy but His grace is sufficient.
